For a plane journey from Lester B. Pearson International Airport to La Guardia Airport
, I recommend :

left side

"Always go for the window seat"

When traveling south to New York, you are sure to catch a spectacular view on the left side (facing front of plane). I really lucked out with this shot, as our plane was about 30 minutes early for arrival. Our pilot made a loop around the south end of Manhattan, which is where I caught this epic shot.
