For a plane journey from Los Angeles International Airport to Newark Liberty International Airport , I recommend : left side "Left side" Alwaus sit on the left--if you approach NYC from the south, there's nothing to see on either side. But if you come in from the north, you get spectacular views of the city. Night shot is of LA on the way out, when we looped around to the south after takeoff.
