"Morning flight over the Indian peninsula"

Within half an hour after take off, we were flying above the Western Ghats, and then the Deccan Plateau. I usually catch the red eye flights to Singapore, so I'd missed looking at the beautiful rural towns of India, and it's brilliant and ever-changing geography. From hills to plateaus to plains, and the large coastline to the tiny islands of Andaman & Nicobar, this was one of the more picturesque flights I'd been on in a while.
